Zouma is mature enough - Jose Mourinho
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho backed defender Kurt Zouma,20, to eventually replace John Terry,34, as the club's captain. The Chelsea manager said, the French defender is mature and good enough to replace club captain John Terry.
Zouma has made 15 appearances in all competitions in his first season at the club.
"Zouma is playing more than I expected, more than he expected, more than everyone expected. So he's getting very important
experience." Mourinho,
"When he gets caps with France and is playing with Chelsea at this level his development will have an acceleration," Mourinho
said.
Mourinho added, Zouma had already reached a level where he is competing with Gary Cahill for a spot in the centre of defence.
