Manchester United are working on a "solution" to get the best from Radamel
Falcao, says manager Louis van Gaal.
Falcao,29, who earns a reported £260,000 a week, has started just two of United's
last five games and has also scored four goals in twenty outings for the Red Devils.
He was an unused substitute in Manchester United's defeat at home against Arsenal.
He was however selected for the Manchester United U-21 side after being an unused sub in the FA Cup against Arsenal.
Louis Van Gaal described that as not "humiliating" and that the striker has reacted to the decision in the right way.
"In a club like Manchester United it is more difficult than in a minor club because here he has his competitors. Now Wayne is playing there and Wayne is scoring so you always have to compare players with each
other but you need also luck," United boss Louis Van Gaal added.
Rademel Falcao was a big transfer target for many big European clubs two seasons ago.
He helped former clubs Porto and Atletico Madrid win the UEFA Europa League before leaving to play for Monaco in the summer of 2013.
Manchester United will have to spend about £43.2m if they need to keep him permanently at the club.
Falcao however suffered a big blow of his career, a knee injury which made him miss almost all the 2013/14 season and eventually missing the greatest footballing showpiece in the world, the world cup held in Brazil.
