FC Porto V FC Basel
UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Date: Tuesday, 10th March
Kick off: 19:45 GMT
Venue: Estadio do Dragão
Agg 1-1
FC Porto has won the trophy on two occasions being 1987 and 2004.
Paulo Sousa, Basel manager says his side are in fine form ahead of their Champions League last-16 second leg tie against Porto in Portugal.
The tie is poised at 1-1 after Porto defender Danilo's penalty cancelled out Derlis Gonzalez's opener for the hosts in Switzerland.
Former Portugal midfielder Sousa, 44, is hoping to mastermind a memorable victory over his home country's last remaining club in the Champions League.
Former QPR boss Sousa is looking to steer Basel to the quarter-finals for the first time since 1974.
"We can present ourselves in Porto at our best," said Sousa.
Swiss champions Basel are on top of the log with seven points clear after a 3-0 win over FC Thun last Saurday.
Former QPR, Swansea and Leicester boss Paulo Sousa led Maccabi Tel Aviv to the Israeli league title last term and is in his first season as FC Basel coach.
Sousa, whose side reached the Champions League knockout stage at the expense
of Liverpool, added: "It was an amazing, amazing performance, and I'm really, really happy.
"It means we have come back again to near our best level of performance."
Basel will have to end Porto's unbeaten record in the Champions League if they are to advance.
This is their 10th match in this season's competition having entered at the play-off round.
Porto have won six and drawn three of their previous nine games.
They are almost certain to be without captain and leading scorer Jackson Martinez. The Colombian forward has six goals in eight Champions League appearances this season, but suffered a groin injury in last Friday's Portuguese Liga 1-0 win at Braga.
