Reigning Ghana Premier league champions, Asante Kotoko and last season's runner up, Accra Hearts Of Oak will be participating in the CAF Champions league and Confederations cup respectively.
Ghanaian clubs have been complaining of the huge financial burden associated with playing in the Africa club competitions and have called for financial bailout from the State.
Accra Hearts Of Oak in the beginning of the season wanted to boycott the competition due to lack of funds.
It is believed that the Ghana Football Association gave participating clubs similar donations last season.
“ We will be supporting the clubs in Africa this season,” Kwesi Nyantakyi, President of Ghana Football Association.
“ We will soon make a presentation to them – the amount I think is around $ 20,000 - 30,000.”
