Kane also in selected group to have won the player of the month award in consecutive months. Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler, ex Arsenal forward Dennis Bergkamp and former Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo. These are the players to have achieved this feat since its inception.
Harry Kane, 21, scored nine league goals in the last two months, including braces in wins against two London rivals,,Chelsea and Arsenal.
"It's an honour to get this award once in a season, let alone twice in two months," said after winning the award.
"Winning against Arsenal and getting both goals was a special day for myself and for the club." He added.
Kane is now third on the Premier League scorers chart with sixteenth.
Manager of the month award went to West Brom's Tony Pulis.
Tony Pulis after picking up eight points from four Premier league matches helped West Brom climb up from the relegation zone.
