REV OSEI KOFI REACTS to KOTOKO AND HEARTS POOR RUN OF FORM
Ex blackstar and kotoko coach Rev Osei kofi has ADVISED the 2 most successful clubs in Ghana Asante kotoko and Hearts of oak to boycott this year's African Club competition due to their pitiable run of form this season. Both teams have accounted 4 wins in 14 games together with each side winning 2 a piece.
Asante kotoko and Hearts of oak loss their last round of matches 2:1 to AshantiGold and 1:2 to New Edubiase respectively.
It is Very Sad to see 2 of African football powerhouses struggling to win games in their domestic leagues with African champions league and Confederations cup at stake.
Kotoko has won the Ghanaian premier league for a record of 21 titles and winning 3 trophies for the past 3 years.
Ghana represented 4 clubs in last year's African Club competition. Surprisingly all 4 clubs were eliminated in the first round of matches.
Rev Osei kofi asked both clubs, Asante kotoko and Hearts of oak who will be representing the country to bow out of the competition concerning their abissmal run of form since the season started.
Kotoko face Lions of
Sierra Leone as Hearts play AS Police of
Benin.
