Greek football has already been suspended twice this season due to violent behaviours.
Professional football in Greece has been suspended indefinitely following the violence in a game between arch rivals Olympiakos and Panathinaikos and a grudge between club officials at a
board meeting on Tuesday.
The violence at the Olympiakos and Panathinaikos games heated up as a result of fans hurling flares, rocks and bottles at officials during Panathinaikos's 2-1 victory over Super League leaders Olympiakos on Sunday.
All the top 3 divisions in Greece have been affected by the recent suspension.
"What we have been informed is that the Super League and the Football League have been suspended indefinitely," Super League President Giorgos Borovilos.
