▪ Three defensive mistakes cost Bayern.

▪ FC Porto are the only unbeaten side left in the competition.

▪ Porto have not reached semi-finals since 2004, where they won it.

One of defensive blunders by Bayern on the night led to a penalty caused by Manuel Neuer -Ricardo Quaresma scored from the spot and added a second minutes later, after capitalising on Dante's mistake.
Thiago Alcántara scored a consolation on the 28th minute before Jackson Martínez added the 3rd on the night for Porto.

"We always want to build up from the back and this style can be dangerous," he conceded. "We can't make any accusations though. Mistakes happen.

"We were looking good when pulled a goal back, but when Porto made it 3-1, that really hurt us. Nevertheless, there is everything to play for in the

Klopp to leave Dortmund this summer

Klopp terminates his contract - will leave Dortmund in the summer

Jurgen Klopp has asked for his termination of contract which was to run until 2018.

The 47-year-old German asked to be released from his contract, which had been due to run until 2018.

Klopp told a news conference: "I always said in that moment where I believe I am not the perfect coach anymore for this extraordinary club I will
say so.

"I really think the decision is the right one. This club deserves to be coached from the 100% right manager."

Jurgen Klopp, 47, won 2 Bundesliga titles in 2011 and 2012 and loss to Bayern München in a Champions league final 2-1 at Wembley in 2012/13 season.

Reuters news agency reports that the 47-year-old German has asked to be released from his contract, which is due to run until 2018.

Klopp has been the coach of Dortmund since 2008.

Dortmund have been in their difficult season since Klopp took over in 2008 with the club at one stage this season in the relegation zone of the Bundesliga standings.

However they have been able to turn things around in the latter stages of the season - now 10th on the table with 37 points behind leaders Bayern München.

Perfect time to face Man United - Kompany

Our dreadful form might somehow work in our favour in next weekend's meeting against Manchester United, Vincent Kompany said.

Manchester City suffered their fourth consecutive away loss in all competitions when they were beaten by Crystal Palace 2-1 on Monday.

The Premier league defending champions are now fourth on the table with a point behind rivals Manchester United - who the face next weekend.

The Belgium and City skipper is prepared to end the season with no silverware but urges his team to finish the remaining games in thrive regardless.

"We have United on Sunday and a derby is a derby. It doesn't matter what place you are in the league, it's a derby.

"If anything, it’s a good moment to go into a derby. I guess the momentum is a little bit with our neighbours at the moment but it's the perfect place for us to go and try to rectify what we've had on Monday," Kompany added.

Manchester City for the past seasons have come from behind to win the ultimate.
Kompany is hopeful his team repeat their end of season form to propel them to an automatic champions league qualification.

A look at the Reptile Stadium

The Turkish side, Bursaspor are on the verge of giving the world the best stadium it has ever seen.

Bursaspor have been building the Timsah Arena (Crocodile Arena) since 2011 but the end is finally in sight for the fans, the club expect the work to
be complete by the end of this year.

The idea comes from the club's nickname 'Yeşil Timsahlar' , which translates to 'Green Crocodiles', so naturally they decided a new stadium needed a giant open mouthed reptile with eyes and teeth that light up on matchdays.

The Green Crocodiles currently sits on the fourth place of the Turkish league table.

The stadium is a 45,000 capacity seater.

Fellaini is undroppable says Louis Van Gaal

Belgian star Marouane Fellaini signed for Manchester United for a fee of £27.5m from Everton in 2013.

Marouane Fellaini's first goal for Manchester United came in October last year after 13 months of joining the Manchester club.

After a disappointing first season under former Everton and Manchester United boss, David Moyes, Fellaini once said he felt like a scapegoat under the club's struggles.

However, since former Barcelona, Ajax and Bayern Munich coach Louis Van Gaal took charge in the summer of 2014, Fellaini has scored 5 goals in 23 matches in all competitions - recent one in a 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Fellaini has started in the last four games for Belgium and scored three goals in two matches during the recent international break.

Van Gaal said, "When he is playing like he is now, I cannot change him."

"He's had an unlucky season because he was injured and ill a lot of times, but when he's been fit he's always played for me, more or less.

"I was looking for balance in the team and he can bring that."

Louis Van Gaal has not ruled out winning the title despite United lying fourth on the Premier League table.
"Mathematically, we can still do it," he said.

Neymar can reach the level of Ronaldo and Messi - Sir Alex

"The boy Neymar gets a lot of publicity about the potential he's got, but I think that's still to be seen, still to be fulfilled.
Certainly, most people I speak to speak highly of the boy," said Sir Alex Ferguson.

Neymar netted 15 goals in his first season in la liga and is behind Messi for the list of goalscorers for Barcelona with 26 goals so far this season.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi have together been awarded the world's best player in the last seven (7) years.

Both players have also battled it out for the ballon d'Or for the past eight (8) years with Ronaldo finishing second to Kaka and ahead of Leo Messi in 2007.

The retired Manchester United manager believes Neymar is well placed to reach the standard set by Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo and fellow club mate Leo Messi.

"You'll always look at clubs like Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United to produce that kind of player you're talking about, but to be honest, I'm not sure there's one sticking out at the momen," - Sir Alex Ferguson added.

Mancini, a magnet for top players

The former Galatasaray and Manchester City manager, Roberto Mancini has had a tough time in his second coming to the San Siro club Inter Milan, the club is out of Europe - an europa league demolition from Wolfsburg and the Coppa Italia and they currently lie on the mid table in the Italian Serie A.

He re-signed for the 2010 UEFA Champions League winners last November after spells at England and Turkey respectively.

Club director Marco Fassone is optimistic Mancini's presence will appeal big names to the club and will restore Inter Milan's place on the top of the table next season.

Despite the Italians winless run of four, Fassone is
convinced he will attract the big names Inter need to re-establish themselves as title contenders.

"Already in January, some very important players have been considering our project due to the presence of Mancini, without talking about money," Fassone added.

"Roberto is a magnet for top players. He likes to participate in our meetings and has an encyclopaedic knowledge on players, Mancini is the centre of our engine.

Fassone believes the arrival of Mancini will help the club reconstruct and will be able to compete with the top teams next season.

Juventus have been dominant over the previous years - winning 3 straight Scudettos.

I'm not a money grabber - Raheem Sterling cries

Raheem Sterling, 20, after signing for Liverpool in 2010 from Queens Park Rangers has been in a phenomenal form.

"I don't talk about how many cars I'm going to drive, how many houses I've got. I just purely want to be the best I can be."

There have been rumours linking the English winger to Arsenal and Real Madrid for the past months.

Aubameyang eyes Europa league

Borussia Dortmund have had a ragged form from the beginning of the season but are looking very impressive with eight (8) more games to go.

Dortmund place 10th on the Bundesliga standings.

They sat in the relegation zone at the halfway stage of the Bundesliga seaon, but europa league finish is now a distinct possibility.

Borussia Dortmund face league leaders Bayern München this weekend.
The two sides earlier met on November with Bayern winning 2-1 - late strikes from Arjen Robben and Robert Lewandowski secured their win over Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern however loss at home to Borussia Mönchengladbach by 2-0 before the international break.

Dortmund foward Pierre Emerick Aubameyang believes their weekend's game against Bayern München will be very difficult for the league leaders.

"We have to perform like against Schalke.

"We need to win if we want to look ahead towards the Europa League. We have to win although it won't be easy," he added.

"It will be a great game to watch. I always felt a certain pleasure to play this kind of games. Even if we are much behind this will be a very good game, I am sure.

"We are too behind but I am sure we can keep up with them.

"Every time we challenge Bayern, they struggle to beat us."

Guus Hiddink fumes at Iniesta boos

The Netherlands host Spain in an international friendly last night at Amsterdam with the host winning yet again over the European champions for the second time in some months.

Netherlands beat the former world champions by 2 goals to nill - goals from Stefan de Vrij and Davy Klaassen look to have eased off the pressure on Netherlands manager Guus Hiddink.

However, the Netherlands boss has hit at fans who booed the former European best player, Andres Iniesta - Iniesta scored the winning goal in the 2010 world cup final when both sides met.

Guus Hiddink didn't like the reception given to the Barcelona midfielder.

He described the incident as a disgrace and shameless.

"It's a disgrace. If such a world-class player is booed you should be ashamed deeply as the public," - Guus Hiddink.

"I asked the bench why they did that, I did not understand. Iniesta is firstly a fantastic footballer and also a great person.

"I found this reaction very inappropriate and shameless." He added.
