After being humiliated last night by French side AS Monaco, Arsenal boss Arsène Wenger has slammed his defense and criticised them of being nervous and suicidal.
"We missed chances and were suicidal defensively." Arsenal Wenger. "It is just not right to give goals away the way we did."
Arsenal must now score 3 unanswered goals to progress to the next stage of the competition.
The last time Arsenal loss on a 2 goal margin were to FC Bayern and they finally went out on away goals.
Ajax are the only team to progress in either the European Cup or Champions league despite trailing at home on a 2 goal margin in 1969.
